What had happened was… I finished and I started. I finished. Someone to Kiss! I got 90 percent of the edits done. I stayed up till almost three in the morning last Sunday and took the entire day off on Monday to get it all done. Trust me, when I went to bed on Monday night, I SNORED! I snored so loud the neighbors complained. I wish that was a joke.
I also started the next in my Shadow Guardian series. I am three chapters into this story, and it really is some of the best writing I have done. I have to thank my editors for that. Also, I think it because I feel this story in my soul. It starts out in Spain, after the Reconquista. The hardest part was trying to figure out what pronouns to use.
As you’ll learn, one of my main characters is trans. Without giving away too much information, the person’s soul has been trans through all of their lives. I used the he/him pronouns until I decided what to do. Using She/her wasn’t quite appropriate and I felt weird using the he/him. Today I finally decided to use they/them.
If you’d like to see how I envision this character, check out the Tiktok I made for her. (In this life she uses she/her).

Speaking of grabbing books, don’t forget to check out these books.

Lastly, I’d like to say congratulations to Dillian Diaz and Jake Walters who got married today! These are two sweetheart porn stars, and I may or may not have based two characters in Someone to Come Home To on them.
Well, I have to get back to work writing.
I’m going to leave you with a line from Someone to Come Home to.
