So what had happened was, I decided to actually do this before midnight. I know, amazing isn’t it? Of course, I’ll probably not get it edited and linked up till after I get off work tonight. Yeah, I’m working my regular job to get off early another day this week. It’s a nice benefit they offer, but it really sucks when you actually have to work that make up time.
Anyways, I hit The Hive Friday night for The Green Supreme Pageant. It was a fundraiser for Charleston Gay Pride’s Outfest. If you’d like to donate, you can send CashApp donations to $JinnyFromDaBlock. I honestly went because I needed to get out of the house and see some of my friends.

See! Don’t worry, we’re all vaccinated, boosted and perfect social distancing in the bar.
And I got to give a shout out to Medusa Chaos for her fantastic performance. Check out her Insta, she does some amazing costumes.
Anyways, I do have an update on one of my bazillion projects. I pitched a story idea for a script and going to start working on it soon. I also submitted a new script to be made, so we’ll see where it goes. I think I’m going to start posting my scripts for those who want to read them. I’m also debating on taking a screen writing class. Right now I’m self-taught and with a little help I think I can perfect it even more.
That’s the thing about me, if I want to do or get into something, I teach myself. I taught myself investing, because I had nothing else to do. I taught myself how to bake those fancy smancy deserts, of course they don’t look all that fancy when I finish them. They are delicious though. My waist line proves it.
That is why I go to the gym daily, well, that and because of my back injury. I really can’t go more than two days without going to the gym or doing at least 30 min of exercise. I have to remind my body that my left side is still there. I have a lower back injury with severe nerve damage.
It limits me on doing a lot of things, like running, being on my feet for extended periods of time, or sitting in certain chairs. It’s been a long and difficult process coming off my cane and getting back to a somewhat normal life. Of course, if it hadn’t been for that injury, I wouldn’t be writing again. I’d say it was a blessing in the disguise.
Wow, not even a page and I went from partying in the bar, to writing, to baking, to the gym to my back. It’s like Mr. Toad’s wild ride with me, isn’t it? Well, I do have to get going. Time to, work, work, work work. Everyone, have a great week!
